Your commitment - many opportunities
With your contribution, you are giving research at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development a decisive edge that would otherwise not be possible.
Unique research projects in unusual places such as outer space or the Arctic are costly and time-consuming, but hold a fascinating potential for knowledge that benefits basic research worldwide and thus all people.
How can I give support?
You can support the research and research infrastructure of the Max Planck Institute as a whole with your donation as well as a specific research project.
- Donation - You can make a one-off donation to a specific project or the research infrastructure, but also to the Institute's research in general.
- Endowment - It is also possible to make an endowment through the trust foundation of our foundation, the Max Planck Foundation. The proceeds enable us to provide long-term, sustainable and stable funding for our research. With your contribution, we can attract the best minds to the Institute and offer them planning security for their projects or create the structural and technical conditions for their research.
- Bequest donation - Our research aims to explore and understand connections in the present that will have an impact on the lives of future generations. With a legacy donation, you can secure the long-term planning of our research projects. Your legacy supports excellent research that is built on a stable foundation and whose findings will change the world of tomorrow.
How can I show my commitment?
On request, we will publish your commitment in our sponsors' gallery or, by arrangement, in the publicly accessible rooms of the MPIB.
How do I stay up to date?
You can find out about current developments in your funded project via a newsletter that we will send out to you. We will also regularly invite you to visit us at the institute. You will get to know our research scientists and their projects and can be present when new ideas and projects are developed and implemented.
